Before installing this plugin it is required to install the SBIG 4.xx (or higher) drivers, which are included in the latest version of CCDOPS for Windows and CCDSoft. After installing CCDOPS for the first time verify that the camera is correctly connected and try to acquire some test images with it. CCDOPS can be downloaded from the SBIG web site: www.sbig.com
To install the driver copy the file d_sbig.dll into the Astroart folder.

Start Astroart and click CCD Camera from the menu Plug-ins.
Click the "SETUP" button to display the driver dialog box, then click "Connect" to connect to the camera. If this fails check all hardware connections; verify also the network address or the parallel port address of your PC.

• Autoguide chip: Select which CCD should be used for autoguide. The guide CCD and the external CCD allow the simultaneous imaging and guiding.
• Telescope: These are the settings for autoguide. The internal relays are usually supported by all cameras. The AO-7/8 Short focal option mode is an optimized mode to drive the Adaptive Optics when the focal length of the telescope is less than 2 meter. To calibrate the AO just follow the same steps needed to calibrate a mount for autoguide, see the Guide, chapter: autoguide.
• Filter wheel: The internal wheel is supported only by the ST-5C, ST-237 and PixCel cameras. The CFW 6/8 is supported by all cameras, if needed set by hand the pulse calibration for the CFW6. It is possible to choose also the option "Auto detect" which uses the SBIG drivers to command directly all wheels.
• Temperature: write here the desidered setpoint and click the "Set" button. If you want to display the temperature in real-time click the "Display" checkbox.
• Antiblooming: This option sets the anitblooming strength in the ST-5C and in the PixCel 255.
